Description

We are seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician proficient in installing and maintaining various types of automatic doors, including sliding, swing, and shutter doors, specifically for hospital environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with brands such as Assa Abloy, Dorma, GEM, Portalp, Stanley, among others. Strong troubleshooting skills for fault rectification and a good understanding of automatic door system maintenance are essential. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of effectively communicating with clients to manage daily operations and maintenance tasks related to automatic doors and access control systems.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Installation: Install and configure automatic sliding, swing, and shutter doors in hospital settings, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  2. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on automatic door systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify faults in automatic door systems promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and client communication.
  5. Training: Provide training to clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of automatic door systems.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in automatic door technology and incorporate best practices into daily operations.

Skills and Abilities



  1. Technical Expertise: Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automatic sliding, swing, and shutter doors, with experience in brands such as Assa Abloy, Dorma, GEM, Portalp, Stanley, etc.

  2. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.

  3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.

  4. Client Management: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns professionally.

  5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of automatic door systems.

  6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments while delivering high-quality service.


Educational Qualification

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  2. Proven experience in installing and maintaining automatic door systems, preferably in hospital settings.
  3. Familiarity with access control systems is advantageous.
